Mobile Apps (Connect & Go)
StaYantra provides two specialized mobile apps: Connect (for hotel staff) and Go (for guests). Both are built using React Native / Expo to run on Android and iOS.
1. Connect (Staff App)
Connect is the daily interface for your front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
Quick Start
- Download: Install the app via your hotel's private distribution link or Google Play / App Store.
- Log In: Enter the staff credentials assigned by your hotel administrator.
- Active Status: Set your status to "On Duty" to start receiving tasks.
Key Features
- Housekeeping Checklists: Housekeepers see rooms assigned to them, check off individual tasks (bed made, bathroom cleaned, amenities refilled), and tap "Mark Clean" to update the front-desk Smart Grid instantly.
- Offline Mode: If a staff member enters a room or area with no cellular signal (like a basement or deep laundry room), the app caches all task updates locally. They will automatically sync back to the server once a network connection is re-established.
- Incident Logging: Staff can snap a photo of a broken fixture (e.g. leaking tap) directly in the app to log a maintenance ticket.
2. Go (Guest App)
Go is the self-service mobile portal for hotel guests staying at your property.
Quick Start
- Welcome SMS/QR: Upon check-in (or when confirming a booking), the guest receives a SMS containing a download link, or scans the QR code on their room key card.
- Passkey Log In: Guests log in securely using their phone number or booking reference code.
Key Features
- In-Stay Service Requests: Guests can request towels, order room service, or book a spa appointment directly from their phone.
- Folio Tracking: Guests can view their active bill, review posted charges, and pay their folio balance using integrated wallets (eSewa/Khalti) or credit cards.
- Direct Feedback & Complaints: If a guest experiences an issue (e.g. WiFi is down), they can submit a note in the app. This goes to the Triage Bee to immediately alert reception.
