Rewards and referrals

Stayantra Rewards gives you one points balance that you can use at every participating Stayantra hotel. You earn points when you stay, spend them on offers and bills, and earn more by inviting friends.

Where: Rewards in your account menu on the marketplace, or the Wallet tab in the Go app. Who: signed-in guests. If you are not signed in, the Rewards page asks you to sign in first.

Your points summary

The top of Stayantra Rewards shows:

  • Available points, and what they are worth in NPR;
  • your tier;
  • points still pending, with the date they unlock;
  • how many vouchers you have ready to use;
  • how many more points you need to reach the next tier.

How points work

RuleDetail
Value1 point is worth NPR 0.10. So 1,000 points are worth NPR 100.
EarningEach hotel sets how many points you earn: between 10 and 100 points for every NPR 100 you spend (10 is the usual). One stay earns at most 50,000 points.
Waiting periodNew points stay pending for 14 days before you can spend them.
ExpiryPoints expire after 24 months with no activity on your account. You are warned 30 days before.
Participating hotelsOnly hotels that have joined Stayantra Rewards give and accept points.

Tiers

Your tier depends on the points you earned in the last 12 months (not the points you hold now):

TierPoints earned in 12 months
Lhotse Silver0 and up
Everest Gold2,000 and up
Sherpa Platinum5,000 and up

Spend your points

On an offer

The Offers tab lists what you can buy with points: each card shows the price in points (for example 1,500 pts) and how long the voucher lasts after you redeem it (usually 90 days).

  1. Click Redeem on an offer. (Unavailable means you do not have enough points or it has sold out.)
  2. You see Redeemed! and your Voucher code.
  3. Use the code at the Pay step of a booking: enter it under Stayantra Rewards voucher and click Apply.

The My vouchers tab shows each voucher's status: Ready to use, Applied to a booking, Used, Cancelled or Expired. To give one back, click Cancel voucher, then Yes, cancel: your points are returned.

Vouchers cannot be used on multi-room, group-code or company bookings.

On your bill during a stay

While you are checked in, you can pay part of your bill with points from My booking (or the Stay tab in the Go app). By default up to half of the bill can be paid in points (each hotel sets between 10% and 100%), with at least 100 points at a time.

On a points-priced rate

Some hotels offer rates priced partly in points. At the Room step you see how many points the rate costs; you need to be signed in with enough points to book it.

Birthday and anniversary offers

The My offers tab holds birthday and anniversary codes from hotels you have stayed at (add your dates on your profile to receive them). Show the code with photo ID at the hotel's front desk. These codes cannot be used online.

When you have none, the tab says No occasion codes yet.

Refer a friend

Invite a friend, and when they complete their first stay with your code you each get 500 points.

Share your code

On Stayantra Rewards, find the card Give 500, get 500. Click Copy code, Copy link, or Share to send it from your phone.

Your friend signs up

Your friend opens the link. They see A friend invited you and click Create an account (or Open in the app). The code is added to their new account. A friend who already has an account adds the code in the Go app under Wallet → Refer a friend, before their first booking.

They stay

After your friend's first stay booked with the code (at least NPR 1,000 paid), you each get 500 points. Like all points, they are pending for 14 days.

How hotels are ranked

The How hotels are ranked page explains the order you see hotels in:

  • Search results and city pages are ordered by star rating (highest first), then by name. No hotel can pay to move up.
  • Featured hotels are chosen by a published merit score: guest rating, number of reviews, how complete the profile is, and star rating.
  • Sponsored places are paid, always labelled Sponsored, and shown only among the featured hotels.
